My day started just the way it started from the previous days or the most mornings of my life.
I woke up without a mother who would patiently nag me about waking up in the early morning. I woke up because of the sound of a rooster shouting to the world that it's already awake using its quirky tik-ti-la-ok.
The only difference was that this morning, a death carriage followed by lots of people all dressed in black. They were walking slowly on the way to the cemetery which was situated just a fifteen-minute walk away from my place.
Who could it be? I never know that someone died in our place. But why would I even care? I never cared about anything since the world started not to care about me.
With haste, I remove my concentration on the passing death procession and looked at my surrounding which was a four-sided room. This squalid place happened to be my house. Shoving all the sleepiness away, I prepared for school.
But just when the time that I was about to enter the communal bathroom, because I am not rich to afford a boarding house with a bathroom inside of it, a man dressed in black long sleeves and pants instantly entered my destination. If I could curse that person to death, I would. But I let it pass.
After fifteen minutes of waiting, he finally came out. He was freshly bathed and was wearing just a blue towel which covered the lower part of his body while the rest were left uncovered.
What in the world was he thinking?
Ugh! He seemed so arrogant, so proud of his body that he didn't even care if there was someone who could enjoy the view of his nudity. With disgust, I entered the bathroom and slammed the door.
What a dim-witted guy!
Oh, if you're asking how's school? To tell you honestly, nothing happened unusually in school. I'm still the same me, friendless, loveless and yeah, still unnoticed.
