Minneapolis, Minnesota Later That Day After Daniel arrived at the airport in Minneapolis, he took an Uber to the local court reporters’ office. The office was affiliated with a national firm with corporate offices in all major cities throughout the country. One of the many services offered included leasing rooms for the day or by the hour to executives including attorneys. Attorneys who decided against remote depositions could travel out of state, conduct the deposition at the corporate office, and work there until their flight home. The arrangement worked well for smaller firms that didn’t have offices in other locales. Although Daniel booked a swanky hotel room, he didn’t go straight there. Being alone again in a hotel room in another state wasn’t something Daniel looked forward to. H
