Lola ignored her and continued to argue with Joanna. "Incompetent? Last week, the document you submitted for review had a minor decimal error, costing the company tens of millions. If anyone’s incompetent, it seems to be you."
Joanna’s face flushed with embarrassment. "Stop twisting things! We’re talking about how your actions have dragged the entire secretary department down."
She had never liked Lola. They had both fought their way into the secretary department.
'Why should Lola, with just her looks, get in easily?' Joanna was determined to get her fired.
Lola grabbed Joanna’s collar, her face darkening. "My meeting schedule is flawless. I’ll say it again. Don’t jump to conclusions before the facts are clear."
