Chapter Eighteen:
"I am not sure that I really want to hear it, Jax." I complain and that only puts a smile on her face. She looks really proud of whatever the genius plan that she has in store for me.
"You are going to love it. Not right now though, now you might think I am crazy but later you will want to kiss my toes for convincing you to do it." she claps her hand and squeals in excitement before she throws herself on the bed and lays her torso on my legs that are still encased in the floral, white comforter.
"It is the confidence for me, really. Who says I will let you convince me to be a part of your crazy plan?" I laugh at her and cross my arms over my chest.
I am hungry and she is definitely wasting more time by not getting straight to the point!
