-Elijah- When I heard Angela’s beautiful voice echo through the house, I quickly left Hunter’s room and rushed to her. As soon as I stood in front of her, I scooped her up, holding her close while I kissed her senseless. I had never been so worried or scared in my life, knowing she had been out there without our protection. “Let me have a look at you,” I said as I set her down, scanning her for injuries. She seemed to be okay, with just a few scrapes here and there. While I knew she wanted to ask about Hunter, she allowed me to search her first so I could calm down. “Do not worry.
