The queen was like a wall in front of my car, refusing to move. I had been so close this third time, but even though I had managed to push her out of the way, she just came up behind me and jumped on my back, wrapping her arm around my throat and choking me.
I did my best to get her off, but it wasn’t until we were rolling around on the ground, both bleeding from the nose, mouth, and other small scrapes, our bodies doing their best to heal, that she finally let go.
