~~Alejandro~~ I sat on the bar counter, swirling my glass of wine. My thoughts were still on her. I missed her a lot. I wanted to spend time with her tonight, but she has been acting strange lately; she seems to be hiding something from me.She doesn’t want to depend on me; I know she’s been through a lot, but I wanted to make her happy. I took a sip. Nick called—he was in Madrid and insisted on a drink. I agreed because I needed one too. “Woo, Alejandro—this is the first time in a long time you decided to hang out with me. I just tried my luck again, and it worked. What a lucky day for me,” Nick said, loud and pleased. I wasn’t in the mood. I didn’t even know why I came; I should have just drunk at home. “So I decided to open a branch here in Madrid. What do you think?” Nick added.
