My eyes widened at the sight.
My fingers trembled as I reached out, tracing each letter slowly — like I needed the touch to convince myself this moment was real. Tears blurred everything until they spilled freely.
I looked up.
He stood there, unmoving, letting me read everything he couldn’t say out loud in the darkness of his eyes.
And I broke—And then I threw myself into his arms, clinging to him, my head resting on his chest like his chest was the only place my heart knew how to beat. My face pressed right above my name inked on his skin — exactly where it belonged.
His arms wrapped around me — strong, and protective and his cheek rested against my wet hair.
He pulled me back just a little, his palms warm on my cheeks, forcing me to look only at him.
