ADRIAN I woke up with the most horrible headache. My hands automatically went to my head to massage my temple as I sat up from the very uncomfortable position I was in. My eyed burned the moment I opened them, and it had to do with the craziest amount of sunlight I had ever. What the_ The huge floor to ceiling window that greeted me when I finally managed to pry my eyes open after battling with the light, and turning away from the full force of it. I looked around me to take in my environment in confusion. This was not my bedroom. In fact, it was not a bedroom at all. This was... how had I fallen asleep in my father's study? And why was there an empty bottle of whiskey on the table in front of me. I winced when the memories from the previous night came washing down my foggy brain.
