A few minutes after we had finished eating, Anita walked out of her station and plopped in the seat next to Adrian, looking both pissed and exhausted. "I quit." she stated simply, when we both turned our attention to her.
Now that I looked at her properly, without jealousing placing a green film over my eyes, she looked young. Nineteen or twenty kinda young. And pretty too. And she did look like she had a comfortable relationship with Adrain who was now raising an eyebrow at her.
"Anita. If I had quit on the first day, I'm not sure I would be owning what I did now." He said, sounding so much like a seventy year old headmaster.
