The Rejected Sisters

*CHAPTER ONE*

***Reign POV:

Beep. Beep. Beep. 

Ughhh. What the hell is that noise? I open my eyes and looked over my table and smack the alarm clock, off. I grabbed my phone from my table and turned it on and saw it was 6:35am. I jumped off from my bed and went towards the bathroom. Every time I look in the mirror, my eyes remind me so much of my parents. My left eye is grey, just like my mother while my right eye is gold, just like my father. I still remember that day like it was just yesterday. 

*FLASHBACK*

I was 14 years old while my sisters were 12. My parents were both betas of the White Moon Pack. There was a rogue attack and my parents hid us in the basement. 

“Do not leave this basement. Do you understand me. Reign?”

“Yes, mommy.”

“Protect yourself and your sisters. Okay, baby?

“Okay, daddy.”

“We love you and your sisters so much. Don’t forget that.” Mom and dad came to hug and kiss me and my sisters, not knowing that it was the last time that we would see them. 2 hours later, somebody was knocking on the door. 

“Stay here.” I told my sisters. They both nod. I grabbed my knife and I walked to the door and look through the hole. It was the gamma of our pack. I hid my knife in my pocket and I opened the door.

“Are you Beta Knight’s daughter, Reign?”

“Yes. Yes I am.“ 

“I’m sorry but your parents passed away due to the rogue attack.”

I couldn’t cry because I wouldn’t want my little sisters to worry about me. I looked to the gamma, with a cold emotionless face.

“Take my sisters to the pack house and show me the bodies of my parents. I want to see it for myself. “

The gamma did as he was told and took me to see my parents bodies. When I arrive there, they took off the white sheets halfway, so I can see my parents faces. Their faces were burnt but I can still see flesh and bones there. One glance at them and I automatically knew they wasn’t my parents. My parents had matching tattoos behind their left ear. I checked both of their ears and saw nothing. My father had a sword tattoo with a dragon on his back hips. I checked his hips and there was nothing. I remembered my mother having a birthmark that look like a crown on the back of her shoulder. I checked it and there was nothing. Nobody in this pack knew that my parents had tattoos. So of course they assume that these bodies belong to my parents. 

This gives me hope. This brings comfort to me knowing that my parents are still alive. I don’t want to tell the alpha or anybody about this. You could never trust anybody so I decided to search for my parents secretly when I’m old enough. I walked to the gamma, pretending to be sad.

“Thank You.”

“Of course. We will arrange the funeral for your parents. You don’t have to do anything. You can also move to the pack house.”

“No it’s okay. My parents already pay off the house. Me and my sisters would like to continue to live there. It’s the only thing we have left of our parents.”

“Of course Miss Knight.”

I walked away and saw that my dad’s white Dodge Challenger stood there in front of me. I looked at the gamma, who stood behind me.

“Your father told me once, that he taught you how to drive, so I brought it here for you.”

“Thank You.” He walked towards me and placed the car keys in my hands.

I hopped in and went to pick up my sisters from the pack house. Good thing, dad taught me how to drive ahead of time. We drove back home safely. I looked at my sister in the back and saw that they were sleeping. I carried them back into the house and tuck them in their beds. I walked out and decided to make a cup of tea. After finishing making it, I walked outside towards our front porch and looked up to the stars. 

“Father. Mother. Wait for me. I will soon come to find you. I promise you.”

*FLASHBACK ENDED*

“Father, mother, where are you?” I mumbled to myself. I didn’t know I was crying til I felt water on my cheeks. I wiped my cheeks and I decided to take a shower. After handling my business, I went to my closet. I decided to wear a white plain shirt and a black sweat pants with white socks and white nike Air Force. I put my black hair up in a messy bun and put on my little diamond earrings. While putting on my glasses, my sisters burst in my room and went straight towards me, knocking me down. 

“ITS FINALLY OUR 16th BIRTHDAY!!!” 

“Happy Birthday Valkyrie and Velora.” I got up from the floor and help my sisters up. They have grown so much. Ever since my parent’s disappearance, I didn’t know what to do. It was so much pressure and too much for me to handle but I’m glad that my two twin little sisters were there to encourage me thru good and bad times.

“Big sis, why are you crying?”

“Huh?” I touched my cheeks and felt tears streaming down my face. I immediately wipe it off and put a smile on my face, trying to lighten up the mood. “I’m just shocked of how grown you two are.”

“Reign, I know you were thinking of mom and dad. So stop trying to hide it from me and Velora.”

“Yeah, Reign. We are your sisters. You can tell us anything. You don’t need to carry everything on your own. Me and Valkyrie are here for you always. And we love you.”

“And we thank you too. Without you, me and Velora would never be here, alive and well. You could’ve made us go for adoption or foster homes but instead you decided to take responsible for us and took care of us no matter how hard life is for you.”

I look at them, with tears in my eyes and immediately wrap my arms around them. Valkyrie and Velora both have black hair like me but their eyes were different. Valkyrie had both grey eyes while Velora had gold eyes. 

“I love you both so much. Now go get ready for school. I’ll be making breakfast downstairs.” My sisters went to their room while I went downstairs to get breakfast ready. I decided to cook bacons, scramble eggs, and pancakes with Nutella on top. 10 minutes later I heard my sisters running down the stairs. 

“Hah!! I won.” 

“Meh. Whatever.”

I shake my head and quietly laugh at my sisters playfulness. Valkyrie is the more energetic twin and has a very blunt mouth, while Velora is the softy and aloof. I grabbed the two plates and placed it in front of them. I grabbed my plate and poured orange juice in our cups, then we ate in peace. After breakfast, I ran upstairs and grabbed my back pack, my phone and AirPods. I walked out, and went to my 1969 Black Chevy Camarillo Z28. What? I may be a girl but I love my cars. I sat at the driver seat and looked at my sisters. 

“You guys ready?”

“Yup.” They both said in unison. 

I turned on the car and drive towards a nearby store. After buying our food, drinks and some snacks, we started to head for school. While driving there, all my sisters could talk about was finding their mates since they are already 16 years old. We are werewolves. So when we turn 16, we can finally find our mates and also shift into our wolves. I’m 18 years old. It’s been 2 years of me, searching for my mate and still no sign of him anywhere. Maybe he is in another pack. And also I thought I can shift into my wolf, but still nothing.  

After arriving to school, I parked my car away from other cars because I didn’t anyone touching my baby. I closed the door and waited for my sisters to come out. 

“Hold up Valkyrie. Let me fix your glasses.“ I went up to her and fixed her glasses. We all wear glasses. Maybe later on, I might order some eye contacts. 

“You think my mate is going to like me?”

“Of course, Velora. He is going to love you for who you are. And if he don’t, then he can go f**k himself. Or I will f**k him up for you.” said Valkyrie. 

“I would do the same thing for you too, Valkyrie. If he rejects you, I will always be here for you.” said Velora.

“And i will be right here for you too, both of you. After all, we are sisters. And sisters are forever.” I said and they both hug me. Later on, we placed our stuffs in our lockers and made our way to our first period, P.E. After P.E. we went on our separate ways. I don’t really have much classes, because I’m a senior while my sisters are in tenth grade. I don’t have class for second period, so I just went to sit under a tree and decided to read a book. While reading my book, I smell an intoxicating scent. It was sandalwood mixed with mint. I opened my eyes and saw the most handsomest man I have ever seen. He had blonde hair with blue eye like the oceans. I could tell he had muscles because his shirt was tight around him. I never seen him here before. So he must be new. He was with a couple of his friends and had a red head girl in his arms. I roared at the sight of him with another female. Wait, hold up. Did I just roared? Anyways back to the handsome guy. When I looked up, we locked eyes. At first he looked at me with admiration but then it turn into disgust. He walked towards me and his friends followed him. He grabbed me by the arm and I felt sparks.

“I can’t believe the Moon Goddess paired me with an ugly fat mate. This isn’t fair. Why do I have to be mate with you? What’s your name, mutt?” I whimpered at what he said. Every words he said, was a knife to my heart. I looked down to the floor. 

“My name is Reign Black Knight.” I looked up and looked to his ocean beautiful eyes. 

“I, Crown Prince Roman Grayson, soon to be king of the Werewolf Kingdom, reject you, Reign Black Knight, as my mate and future queen of the Werewolf Kingdom and to never see you again.”

I immediately fell to the floor. I will not cry. I will not let no tear fall to the ground for some jerk. I picked myself up from the floor and try to remain strong. He was wrapping his arms around and kissing the redhead girl.

“I already have a mate and a strong future queen by my side. Her name is Clarissa Jane Richardson. Bow before your future king and queen.”

I clenched my fist and gritted my teeth. I will not bow down to no one. I try to calm myself but then was kicked to the floor by the redhead girl. 

“Hahaha. That’s right. Bow before me.” The stupid redhead have the nerve to kick me to the floor. How dare she? Don’t worry. I will get her back, just not now. I saw Clarissa and Roman walked away with their friends. I lay on the floor for a few minutes. After for a few minutes, I ran towards my car and saw my sisters crying near my car. I was filled with anger. Who the hell made my sisters cry?

***Valkyrie POV:

I said goodbye to my sisters since we didn’t have second period together. I walked thru the halls and went to my lockers to get my books. After getting my books, I closed my lockers and accidentally bump into someone. I opened my eyes and saw the most hottest guy I have ever seen . Damnn zaddy.. He is sexy as f**k. Someone get me some water cause I’m on fire. He haves brown hair and green eyes, like the forest that I can get lost forever. I looked down towards his chest. Shitt. He got sexy abs. I looked even down lower towards his little friend. Someone is getting hard. 

I looked back up towards his eyes and his eyes was filled with hatred. I was so confused and then he slapped me in front of everybody. I held my cheeks and looked at him confused.

“I will never mate with someone so pathetic. You are hideous. Give me your name, nerd.”

“Valkyrie Black Knight.”

“I, Prince and Alpha Richard Grayson of Blood Moon Pack reject you, Valkyrie Black Knight as my mate and future Luna.”

I saw him walked towards a girl and was kissing her and later smiled at me. I felt my heart being torn into pieces. I immediately grabbed my stuff from my lockers rammed towards Reign car. While going there, I saw Velora crying. I hugged my twin sister and start crying with her. I think she got rejected by her mate too. 

**Velora POV:

Right after P.E. I was on my way towards second period. While walking there, I was pulled towards the janitor closet. I got scared but then I was engulfed with the most addicting scent. I knew he was my mate. He turned on the light and I was shocked to see the bad boy of the school. His sexy black hair and his grey eyes with his six packs. Oh my gosh. Before, I could say anything, he punched me in the face. I fell to the floor and tears were streaming down my face. I looked at him, and he said the words that I wish he never would.

“I, Prince and Alpha Lucas Grayson of Crimson Moon Pack reject you as my mate and future Luna.”

I immediately ran out and went towards Reign’s car. I just stood there and let my tears fall. Later on, I felt someone wrapped their arms and immediately knew it was twin sister because of her scent. Later we felt Reign coming towards us. We saw her eyes were red and she was also crying too. She unlocked her car and me and Valkyrie both, got inside the car and drove towards home. After arriving at home, we all went inside the house and cry together in the living room. I can feel my sisters pain. It hurts so much. Hurts to be rejected by your soulmate, the one you supposed to spent the rest of your life with, the one to hold you, to love you no matter what.

 I guess my parents were wrong about one thing. Mates are not only a blessings but also a curse. A curse you can never get rid of. A curse that will leave a hole in your heart forever. I hate this feeling of hurt. I hate seeing my sisters cry and go through this pain. I rather take their pain away and go through the pain by myself then seeing them break down. We have gone through enough pain because of our parents disappearance. We don’t need more pain anymore. I wrapped my arms around my sisters. I promise to always stay by my sisters side, through thick and thin. I will always be there.
