Chapter 17: Broken Resistance

1772 Words
The exclusive dinner party on the Pavilion's large glass balcony was still going, but Luther was completely tired. The pristine white linen table was covered in untouched, luxury dishes, but Luther hadn't picked up his fork once. Ivy stared at him intensely, and his father's loud, corrupt voice rang out from the nearby VIP area. This made the terrace feel like a prison. With a sharp, sudden movement, Luther pushed his chair back and stood up. Ivy blinked and stopped her wine glass near her mouth. She looked up at him, surprised. "Luther? The main course was just served. You haven't eaten anything." "I am tired of this place," Luther said in a rough, loud voice as he took his suit jacket off the chair. "My father has plenty of politicians to deal with today. I am going home." Ivy's jaw clenched briefly. For a moment, her eyes showed a strong desire to stand up and tell him to stay. She wanted to grab his arm and pull him back. But she caught herself, her sharp political instincts violently slamming the brakes on her reaction. 'Don't be pushy,' she reminded herself. 'If you chase him too hard, he'll run.' Instead, Ivy forced a soft, profoundly understanding smile onto her face, tilting her head gracefully. "Of course. I understand, Luther. This room can be very tiring when you have a conscience. Go get some rest. Regarding on the municipal housing draft, I'll send the documents to your house." "Have a nice night, Ivy," Luther nodded politely. He turned around and walked quickly toward the exit, pushing through the crowd. Sienna walked quickly through the Pavilion's large marble halls toward the underground parking garage. She felt tense and walked with a fast, loud rhythm, her boots hitting the stone hard. Luther slowed down. He looked back over his shoulder to see her face. "You are walking so fast you are almost hitting me," "My objective is to transport the asset back to the secure sector before the media convoys block the perimeter gates, sir," Her voice sounded like a robot again. "Sir?" Luther chuckled. He stopped next to the main work truck in the dark garage. "We're back to the textbook scripts. You didn't even look at me on the terrace. What's wrong, Sienna?" "Nothing is wrong, Mr. Vaughan," she opened the driver's door without looking at him. "Please get in the car." He didn't say another word for the entire forty-mile drive back to the northern area, but the quiet between them felt very heavy and uncomfortable. By 11:30 PM, a quiet, clear night sky with bright stars was over the dark Vaughan estate. The large house was very silent, and the security cameras made a soft sound in the dark. Sienna stood straight outside Luther's bedroom door. Her back was against the wood, and her hands were held tightly in front of her. She was tired, but her mind was full of messy, angry feelings and strong jealousy that she did not want to admit. Suddenly, the big wooden door behind her opened. A big, warm hand reached through the dark, grabbed her wrist tightly, and pulled her into the bedroom before she could say anything. The door closed and locked by itself. "Luther, let go of me," Sienna hissed, trying hard to pull her wrist out of his hand. Luther did not let her go. Instead, he used his body to push her against the wooden door, looking into her eyes with a bold and playful expression. "I'm not letting go until you tell me why you've been acting cold since three this afternoon," Luther whispered, his deep, rough voice making her skin tingle. "I am just doing my job," She breathed heavily against her silk shirt and pushed her hands hard against his wide chest, trying to move away. "You are acting unprofessionally, Luther. Let me go back to work." "Work? Unprofessional?" Luther laughed quietly, leaning close to her face. "Come on, Sienna. Admit it. You're furious because Ivy Durkan spent an hour flirting with me over lunch." He looked at her with a mischievous expression. "I'm not jealous!" Sienna yelled, saying it before she could stop herself. Luther smirked. Sienna looked away. "I-I mean... Ivy Durkan is a political viper! She is acting like she agrees with you just to control you, and you are just smiling at her like an i***t! I am just worried about your safety, Luther! That is all!" "I wasn't smiling at her, Sienna," Luther whispered intensely. His playful grin vanished. He moved his hands from her wrists to her face, his warm palms holding her. He used his thumbs to lift her chin so she had to look into his eyes. "I didn't eat her food, I didn't care about her dinner invite, and I don't care about her secret plans. I left that balcony early for only one reason." He's breathing hard against her. "Because the only woman I want to see and talk to is you—the beautiful, stubborn woman who is currently trying to break my ribs with her hands." Sienna gasped, her heart beating fast from fear. Her anger turned into deep sadness and hurt. "Luther... you shouldn't say those things to me. I told you... It's a mistake." "It's not a mistake," Luther murmured against her lips. He moved closer, pressing his lips firmly against hers. Luther put his hands on her waist, moved her, and pushed her back against the hard concrete wall. Sienna's heels hit the wall, leaving her with no way to move. He stepped very close, his large body filling her view and making the space feel hot and tight. "Luther—" her voice started as a breathy gasp, but the sound was instantly swallowed as his large hands slid down her arm, his touch heavy and deliberate against her skin. His lips went down to her neck. "Your heart is beating so fast," A handsome smile appeared on his face. "Is this still just about work, or will you finally admit that Ivy Durkan almost drove you crazy today?" Sienna opened her eyes and looked angrily at him in the dim light, even though she was breathing heavily. She tried to pull her hands away, her face turning bright red. "You are very annoying, Luther. I am not jealous. I was just watching where she was standing." "Watch?" He repeated. He moved his head down to her upper chest. Slowly kissing her skin. "Is that what they call it when you glare at a woman for a straight hour?" He teased, and continue kissed slowly her skin right there. Before she could answer, he moved his mouth lower, while he unbuttoned the top of her silk uniform shirt with agonizing slowness. Luther didn't rush. He dragged his mouth down further, his lips pressing slow, heavy kisses along the smooth slope of her breast, his tongue swirling passionately against her skin until he captured the sensitive tip of her n****e through the lace of her undergarment. Sienna breathed heavily, losing her resistance. "Uh...Mph," she said, biting her lips. Things became very intense when Luther trailed downward to her belly, he kissed it passionately, move to to her lower abdomen, unbutton her pants and until it slid. Then he stopped. He looked at her, his expression a complex mix of triumph and something far softer—a raw, heavy devotion that he rarely allowed anyone to see. "Are you still thinking about the work?" her murmured. "Or are we done pretending that this is just a job?" Sienna glared up at him, her heart hammering against her ribs. Her hands slowly touch his neck, then up to the back of his hair. She bit her lip while looking up at him, looking annoyed that the moment had stopped. "Stop talking about work, Luther," Luther bit his lip too, he looked intensely at her lower body—between her legs, and began kissing it slowly, moving his lips downward. "Mmmmm..." She leaned her head back against the walls, her hand still holding his head and keep pushing him. Luther held her thigh tightly and did not let go. As his kiss deepened, his tongue sliding and moving around down there with deliberate intensity. "Ah... ah..." Sienna's mind went wild as Luther deepened his tongue. "s**t! I—mm—" She breathed hard and kept a tight grip on his hair, but he stopped. "Still not jealous?" Luther teased. "Damn it, Luther!" she yelled but in a low voice, because she still feeling the pleasure from earlier. "What?" Then he kissed her lower private part again—two quick presses. "Mm... Nn..." He keep reacting between his kisses. He stopped again and looked at her face. As his hands moved up and down on her thighs, he felt her knees go weak. "Still not?" His lips went to her skin again. "No?" He touched it with one hand—moving his finger around her wet precious flower while kissing it, and his gentle touch made her moan. "Mmmph," Her fingers tightened, she held his hair—head hard. "Ahh...mph..." Her knees felt weak, but she stood up straight. She kept her head up as she felt his tongue touch her. "Oh—mmm!" She made loud noises, unable to hide her feelings. She felt his fingers and tongue move faster, the warmth of them spreading through her. "Again, my sweetheart," Another tease from Luther. "Are you still not jealous," his voice deeper now. Sienna's throat moved as she swallowed. She looked down on him, She looked down at him with a frown, but her eyes looked like she was begging. Luther gave a quick pressed on his lip on her flower. He saw Sienna gasped and bit her lip. "No—" "I am!" Sienna cut him. She sounded like she was giving up. She look at him, touching his face. "Now, stay and keep going." "Say it again," he said. "s**t, Luthe—Ahh..." Her fingers went back to grip his hair as Luther tongue made it again. "Where do I stay?" he asked, his tone calm, deliberate, as if he already knew the answer. "T-there..." She gave up. "Please..." His both hand went to her waist, while his face, his mouth rather moved closer again between her thighs. "Yeah... I am. You don't need to beg," He assured her. "And you don't need to feel jealous. 'Cause I'm all yours." Again, between her legs, she felt a deep pleasure and lost her senses when he kissed her deeply with his warm tongue.
