Chapter Fourteen : The First Date

We pull up to this nice little place, it's not fancy and I have never seen this place before and I know my fast food places, there was a time where I was living off of these places. Daniel gets out and walks around the car to get my door but before he can I get out myself and look around. We are in the middle of a forest and we pulled off of the highway that we were on about fifteen minutes ago which means that we are about eight and a half miles away from the pack house but still in the territory. We walk in an awkward silence to the door where a guy holds the door open for us.

waiter - " welcome, welcome, to the mockingbird cottage, come in , come in" 

I step to the side and say " well ladies first" He just rolls his eyes at me and walks in, I know I annoy  him and It makes it so fun when I tease him. We are led to  small table for two at the back corner and I have to admit it is really nice in here, everyone is smiling and as much as it is a little fancy it still has that homey. There is candles lit all around the room and you can tell that this is a place that you bring family to.

Daniel - " I used to come here all the time with my family when I was little, it was always so and my brother would always pick the macaroni cheese it was his favourite" 

Me - " I haven't met your brother yet, when can I meet him" 

Daniel - " He left two years ago to work in the royal palace as a guard and to learn their advanced technique of fighting, He came back and visited a year ago and it was really cool, he is coming in just over two weeks, you can meet him then" 

Me - " Wow That's really cool, I can't wait to meet him " 

Waiter - " Here is your menu's I will just wait over there and you can get me when you are ready to order" 

The waiter walk away and I look down at the menu, there is so many options but I think that I will have to pick lasagne, it is one of my favourite dishes of all time, 

When the food comes and I dig in " I can see why your brother loves this place the food is amazing " 

I am now lying in my bed just thinking about what a fabulous  night I had with Daniel, We talked for hours while eating and having deserts, I didn't reveal my secret though I really wanted to, It goes against everything that the mate bond is to lie and keep secrets from your mate but in reality I know that I need to keep him safe. after dinner he took me for a drive when we still just talked and laughed at so much stuff, It was really the perfect date ever, and even though it was my first date ever, I think it went perfect.
