Chapter One : My Life

I am currently in North Carolina, as much as I would love to stay in this beautiful place but I can't I have to keep moving if I want to survive. I am in the woods, next to a huge waterfall that really took my breath away. I was just chilling in the water trying to cool off seen as it was a really hot day when I heard a twig snap I focused my hearing and by the sounds of it there was ... maybe about ten people heading my way not wanting to get caught I quickly grabbed my stuff and looked for a place to hide it when I saw a small alcove behind the waterfall, not big enough for me but just right for my stuff which was two backpacks, one for my clothes and another for personal belongings such as my hair brush, my money, my phone, my make up and so on. I swam over to the alcove and threw my stuff in there and by this point the people were making there way into the clearing I quickly sunk behind the waterfall keeping my head just above the water, I focused my hearing again and listened to what the people are saying. "What should we do" one of the men said, there are three girls and seven men.

"We have to tell the alpha that we lost the strange scent" a girl with blonde curls said. Ahhhh so they are werewolves but what strange scent I thought to myself. 

"But the alpha is at a meeting with some other other alphas from the surrounding states so the beta is acting alpha at the moment, so we would have to tell him" another man said 

"ugh are we done yet I have a nail appointment in an hour and I need to get home" a girl with obviously fake blonde hair whined while inspecting her nails, wow, she even looks like a b***h 

" shut up " they all said at the same time looking at her with an 'are you serious' look. to me it almost looked like it was a comedy TV show if it was not for the fact that these people would probably kill me if they saw me I might have actually enjoyed this little funny moment. But then I remembered the strange scent they were talking about 'oh s**t' they were probably talking about me I forgot to cover my scent so I quickly recovered and hid my scent making it seem like I was just human. The werewolves ran off to report on my now gone scent while I got up and ran and kept running until I saw a road and across that road was a small, cosy looking diner.
