6Sometime during the early morning hours the snow let up, making travel a bit easier. Still, even Dean agreed with Anna that he wasn’t eager to leave the warmth and comfort the buildings provided. As the day progressed, they made good time. The sun warmed their skin as the miles passed by, and the terrain grew hillier as they drew closer to the small mountain range. That evening, they camped in a buffalo hollow, which gave them little protection from the increasing wind. But it was better than nothing.
