With a single s***h of his claymore, those who lunged at them were instantly torn into shredded flesh. However, it did not stop the students who moved like zombies. From above, dozens more came, descending in chaotic, brutal movements.
“Get down, Reeve!” Alaric roared.
Alaric did not hesitate in the slightest, his large claymore flashing through the air. Every swing split apart parasites that were once students of the academy. One of the parasites attacked from the left, and Alaric cut it down mercilessly.
“Don’t be afraid, I’m here to protect you!” Alaric said firmly.
“There are too many of them, Alaric! We have to fall back, we have to get to camp!” I shouted.
Alaric slashed another parasite that leaped from a tree. “We can’t! We’re surrounded!!”
