MAEVE POV   I froze, staring at Dorian as he fixed me with a sharp gaze, as if he was ready to skin me alive right then and there. I quickly prepared to step away to avoid him, but Dorian immediately caught my wrist. “Answer me, Reeve. You’re hiding something, aren’t you?” he pressed, his voice flat. However, before I could say anything, several instructors rushed toward the medical tent where Alaric was. In their hands, short swords and daggers were already drawn. And that set off an alarm in me. I immediately shook off Dorian’s grip and ran to the entrance of the tent to block them.
