Melonie was crowded into the largest ballroom of the library, shoulders tensed as she was pushed and shoved with people talking and trying to find seats. She was grateful to have her sister there, though she wouldn’t say it out loud. Crystal and Felicity didn’t hesitate to make their way through the crowd, making sure Melonie stayed close enough not to get lost behind. They were able to land seats third row from the front, as most people had entered but were chatting rather than sitting.
