It was raining outside. Raindrops were falling on the leaves. The leaves were swaying in the crisp breeze. My garden bed was always full of flowers. Pots of plants were scattered all over the place. Pink flowers were always my favorite flower. The pink flowers and green leaves were drenched with raindrops. Yes, the same pink rose that I often plucked and applied to my hair, and Zaroon Karim stood and smiled. My fingers touched over the leaves. The raindrops on the leaves. They started falling down tip to tip.
"June comes suddenly, bringing with it a season of silent rains."
"Hira" mother called from the kitchen. I ran towards the kitchen.
"Will you help me to cook?"
"Sure." I picked coffee beans and ground them into coffee. It was still raining outside. A vase was placed on top of the window shelf, on which flowers were decorated. I touched these flowers. The rain had stopped outside. The atmosphere was cool. The drops were falling on the leaves of the plants. The cat was running around in the garden. Its golden eyes were shining.
I lit the candles. I closed the windows of the room and drew the curtains. The room became dark and the candle light started spreading. I sat on the sofa and started reading a book. While reading the book, I got tired and went to the balcony and started looking into the garden of the neighbors. There were many butterflies in their garden. The daughter of the neighbors whose name was Rose. She was running after the butterflies, playing with them. At once, moisture appeared in my eyes. I wondered why all the butterflies in the world came to Mrs. Joseph's garden, even though the flowers bloomed in my garden too. Anyway, I was very worried about last night's dream. The same dream I mentioned in the previous chapter. I don't know where Zaroon went. He was probably angry with me. He didn't talk to me. Rose was still playing with butterflies. I thought it was the world of butterflies . Ah! These butterflies. I thought that the girl should become like a butterfly, beautiful and soft and delicate. But my thinking was wrong. You will understand that by reading the next pages.
"Mom, look at the butterflies. I'm catching butterflies."Rose was happy. Rose was a sweet girl. Her face was a rose like her name. She was soft and delicate, innocent and sweet. She looked like a butterfly among butterflies.
"Be careful, son, don't fall." Mrs. Joseph, who was sitting in the living room, was playing the piano. The soft sound of the piano was coming through the window of the living room to my balcony.
"Mom. I'm having so much fun." Roz jumped with joy. I was now standing in the balcony holding a cup of coffee. And in a while she was enjoying coffee.
"I wish I was Rose. Rose is really like a butterfly. Now Maddy came to the balcony. I expressed my regret to Maddy.
"Why do you think that?" Maddy looked at me in surprise. Maddy was my very dear friend, my childhood friend.
"Rose is like butterflies, so butterflies come to her house."
"If she is like butterflies, one day the butterflies will take her away." Maddy said while I listened to her words. The leaves were dry outside. The trees that were bathed in rain water a while ago were now dry and fresh. I ran from the balcony and came down. The sky was turning deep blue. There were bunches of trees. There was a vine with yellow flowers. I touched the yellow flowers of this vine and then thinking of something, I broke all the flowers in turn. It began to break and a bouquet of flowers was formed. A bouquet of yellow flowers. A white flower opened in the middle of the grass, a bud which presented a very charming sight. I was wearing a long frock of skin color and my Medium black hair was scattered on my shoulders. I was lost in thoughts with my arms folded together. I was sad.
"Why don't butterflies come to my garden?" I started jealousing from that small Rose. I started moving away from my house. I lived in the country side. Outside there were mustard fields with yellow flowers blooming. Where the chain of fields used to end. From there the series of shady trees started. Along with the mustard field, there were also wheat fields. The ears of wheat were still green. A trail led to an unknown distance. I was standing in the field feeling jealous of the Rose. I was walking in the fields. She came towards the hills through the fields. I started climbing the hills. I was short of breath. There were small beautiful red flowers on the hills. I plucked them. I went a little further. There were flocks of colorful butterflies. My heart became happy. My spirits lifted. I ran happily towards the butterflies. But all the butterflies disappeared. Under the blue sky, the slopes of the hills were covered with cedar and cypress trees. Instead of black clouds, white clouds were rising in the sky. On the top of the hill, I saw the whole valley. I could go. Goats were grazing grass on top of the hill. I saw butterflies there too. I saw that a huge flock of butterflies was flying in the sky in a huge white sheet. Rose was looking happy. She was wearing a white dress. And there were flocks of butterflies around her. Not knowing where she was going. Jealousy flashed in front of my face. I ran home from there. When I reached the neighborhood of the house, there was a commotion. There was chaos in the whole neighborhood. Rose was lying in front of me. Mrs. Joseph was crying and going crazy. After finding out, it was found that Rose had gone far away while running after butterflies. Someone had killed her and her body was thrown. Thrown in front of the house. My mind was spinning. My steps faltered. There was that little dead thing in front of me. The little thing I was jealous of. Maddie said that butterflies would take her. After all, butterflies took her to her. They took it to their own world. She was like butterflies. Delicate, innocent and beautiful. Someone caught her and crushed her or locked her in a box in which she died of suffocation. Many butterflies were hovering over the flowers spread on Rose's shroud. Yes, she was like butterflies. Finally, they took him to their world. Ah! That world of butterflies.
