XENOS’S POINT OF VIEW
I wanted to talk to him. Actually, Apollo urged me to do so, but he was with his girlfriend again, which made my blood boil. I had to leave; otherwise, I might’ve done something stupid.
“I told you it’s not a good idea!” I snap at Apollo, wishing I could wrap my hands around his throat.
“Don’t jump to conclusions before you know all the facts!” He tries to sound angry at me, but I remember the growl he made when he saw the girl wrapping her arm around him, so I know I’m not the reason behind his shitty attitude.
“You’re not fooling anyone, Apollo. You’re just as pissed as I am. It’s all your fault! I’m done with him. I don’t even want him, I don’t want to want him, Apollo! Fix this s**t! Find me another mate!” I yell at him, well, as hard as I can in my mind, and he growls.
“Who the hell do you think I am? sss? You return the product because you don’t like the color, and I’ll send you another one? I can’t do that, you retarded child!” he snaps in an incredulously exasperated voice, exasperating me!
“You’re a damn God, Apollo! Find a way!” I swear I can see him roll his eyes at me.
“You know what? I don’t need you! I’ll get rid of these stupid feelings all by myself!” And... he laughs mockingly. Why did I expect more from him?
“And how exactly will you do that?” I decide not to answer him, and instead text Laura.
‘Hey, beautiful, where are you?’
“Dear Me! Please tell me that you’re not going to do what I think you want to do!” I choose to ignore him again and read the text from Laura.
‘I’m almost in my class.’
‘Don’t go. Meet me in the parking lot!’ I type while walking toward the parking lot. Apollo growls in annoyance, but he’ll have to suck it up and deal with it. It’s his fault I’m in this situation to begin with.
After a few minutes, Laura shows up and enters the car.
“What’s wrong, baby?” Her voice, which I once found seductive, is now actually hurting my ears, but right now, I need a distraction, and beggars can’t be choosers.
“Are your parents home?” I ask in return because I’m pretty sure that her empty pretty head wouldn’t be able to process what’s wrong with me.
“That’s because you’re all sorts of wrong, boy. No one would be able to process the stupidity and—”
“Shut it!” I snap, then turn my attention to Laura, who smiles devilishly and shakes her head, answering my question.
“Come on, Xenos. This is pointless, and you know it. Get your stubborn ass out of the car and go to classes!” Again, I choose to ignore him and start driving toward Laura’s house.
I turn on the radio and crank up the volume to avoid more conversations. One can only handle so much in a short period.
Laura starts rubbing my thigh up and down, and I try to get my mate out of my mind. And that girl… she… damn!
“And you really think you’ll be able to have s****l intercourse with her?” Apollo just makes it worse.
“SHUT UP! I’LL f**k HER! AND I’LL FORGET ALL ABOUT HIM! I’M NOT f*****g GAY! AND HE… JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!” I bite my inner cheek hard to avoid shifting in the car and damaging it.
“Yes. Very mature of you. Again, note the sarcasm, retarded child.” Apollo mocks as I park the car in the driveway of Laura’s house.
“Stop calling me that. I’ll fix this, and then we’ll see who’s the retarded one. Retarded fossil.” I mock his ancient ass, and he growls and rolls his eyes.
I don’t have to see it to know he rolled them.
I roll them right the f**k back.
I follow Laura inside, even though I don’t really try to catch what she’s saying. I can’t hear s**t anyway. I’m focusing on my racing heart and willing my d**k to get hard, and also forgetting about my stupid mate.
“Yes, this is how an intelligent person uses his ability to multitask. Note the—”
“Shut up.”
We go to her room, and before we even hit the bed, we’re both undressed, ready to f**k.
I lie on top of her and she licks her lips, waiting for me to kiss her.
I can do it.
Maybe not with my eyes open, but if I close them, I should be just peachy.
I do just that and press my lips against her and curse my stomach for turning upside down.
I’m okay, though.
It’s just something I ate.
I can kiss her.
I haven’t marked anyone yet.
Fuck, my lips burn.
“You’re wasting your time. Your p***s won’t function.” Apollo, oh so generously, offers his two, unwanted cents in a bored voice.
“Why are you still here?” I ask Apollo while I break the disgusting kiss.
“Because you won’t do anything, so there’s no need for me to leave.”
“I will!”
“Of cooouuurrrrseee,” he says in utter disbelief, but I’ll prove to him that he’s wrong.
Her lips feel like two pieces of burning coal pressed against mine, but that doesn’t mean every part of her will burn me, so I start kissing her n*****s, hoping that I’ll get hard, but again, my lips burn, and my stomach knots up.
FUCK!
Apollo begins whistling a tune, and I mentally strangle his ancient ass!
“Are you for f*****g real, Apollo? Don’t whistle! I can’t do anything if you’re in my head!”
“Okay. I’ll go. Just to prove you wrong. See you in five when you realize that it’s useless, and you’re a retarded child.” I clench my jaw in frustration and anger, then try to concentrate on Laura’s moans, but instead of arousing me, the sounds annoy me.
I decide that this won’t work, so I change positions. I roll us over so she can suck my d**k.
She reaches for my flaccid, stupid d**k and starts stroking me, but if it’s possible, my d**k just becomes more flaccid.
“What’s wrong?” Great! She’s talking.
“Just a little stressed. Don’t mind me, beautiful.” She bites her lip seductively, then begins kissing my neck, but again, it feels like I’m being tortured.
“Get straight to the point. We only have 45 minutes.” She listens, then goes down, and then starts licking my length, but nothing happens.
Well, almost nothing. Something is happening.
I’m about to throw up.
I close my eyes and focus, praying and hoping it will work.
COME ON!!!
She begins, or at least attempts to suck me, but once again, to my frustration, nothing happens.
My d**k hates me!
“Why won’t you get hard?” Oh, for f**k’s sake! Because I found my mate, who is a man and has a girlfriend, and my chest hurts, and I feel like I can’t breathe.
But I can’t say that now, can I?
“I’m really, really stressed. I hoped that s*x would help, but it seems like it’s quite the opposite.” Damn him and his damn eyes, his damn lips, his damn body, and his damn scent... what an incredibly intoxicating scent...
Fuck!
“Let’s go back to school.” I accept the bitter defeat, get out of bed, and start dressing faster than I ever have.
“Are you serious right now?” she asks in a high-pitched voice, making me cringe. I choose not to lose it, finish dressing, then look at her. To my surprise, disappointment, and disgust, I see that she’s still naked and angry.
“Yes, Laura. I’m serious. It’s not my fault that—” I get interrupted by a flying pillow.
“LAURA? WHO THE f**k IS LAURA?” Oops?
Apollo comes back, and he’s laughing his ass off.
Just perfect! That’s what I need right now.
“This starts... to get interesting,” the i***t barely manages to say between sobs of laughter.
“Let’s go back to school,” I say in a calm voice, but she jumps out of bed, crosses her arms over her chest, and starts tapping her foot on the floor angrily.
“What’s my name, Xenos?” she asks again, and this time, her brown eyes are narrowed, her lips pressed in a tight line, giving me the most murderous look anyone has ever directed at me.
Apollo starts laughing louder and louder, making it hard for me to think.
“Shut up and help me, Apollo!”
“I can’t. I mean, I don’t know anything, remember? I’m just a useless God. Or was it retarded fossil?” I struggle not to think of anything so he won’t—
“So I wouldn’t what? Know that you regret your words? That even you think you’re stupid?” I won’t even comment. I have more pressing matters to attend to.
“Apollo!!! What’s her name?!” You can hear in my voice that my patience is wearing thin, and I clench my jaw tight to stop myself from yelling at him aloud.
“WELL? WHAT’S MY DAMN NAME, XENOS?” she yells even louder, which is quite an accomplishment. I didn’t think she could. Anyway, another shoe flies toward me, then another, and another. After that, she heads to her desk, where there’s a lamp.
It’s not that I could get hurt or even feel the hit, but she would break a nice lamp.
“I know your name! Don’t be ridiculous!” I say in a DUH tone, stalling a little.
“Apollo, her name! NOW!” I demand in a voice that leaves no room for debate, and he hums as if he’s considering whether he should take me seriously.
Why the hell didn’t I drown him in that river?
“If you promise you’ll listen to me for two days straight.” Has anyone, in the history of humankind or supernatural, ever heard of a blackmailing god?
The lamp flies in my direction, and I dodge it by a hair’s breadth.
“Okay. Fine! You have a deal.” I sigh in defeat and prepare to dodge the shoe in her hand.
How many shoes does this woman have???
“Marina.” Finally! The ancient fossil decides to do his job and help me out of a nasty situation—the first one, if we’re counting—and I blurt out her name, and she calms down.
THANK. YOU. JESUS!
“Actually, it’s THANK.YOU. APOLLO! You ungrateful retarded child!” I suppress a laugh, and I hear Apollo growl in irritation. I would never say something as blasphemous as that.
She smiles, puts the shoe on the floor, and launches herself into my arms. Bipolar much?
“Let’s go. We’ll be late,” I say as I push her away and try to plaster a smile on my face.
She finally gets dressed, and I head back to school.
FAST!
Fuck speeding tickets. The sooner I get rid of her, the better.
Of course, she apologizes all the way there, and Apollo f***s my brain meanwhile, reminding me every two seconds how right he is, how little I know, how limited my brain is, and that I should never question him, and bla bla bla.
By the time I park, I have a serious case of ‘f**k OFF’ and a heavy headache.
