SADIE almost had a heart attack when she saw Harley standing beside her. She was watching her with a worried expression especially since she screamed when she opened her eyes and found her looking at her in the mirror.
“What’s wrong? Why are you looking at me as if I’m a ghost? I’ve been calling your name but you weren’t answering. The food’s already served.” Harley’s face looked genuinely concerned, just like how she looked at her whenever she faced some problems that they usually solve together.
“I’m just—“ she sighed and then turned off the faucet. She turned to her right and pulled three sheets of paper towel to dry her face and hands. When she faced Harley again to ask about Ryleigh, the look of worry in Harley’s face was replaced with a frown.
