When Sadie opened her eyes, she looked around and realized that she’s alone inside the room. She was aware of how her walk at the beach with William ended. She looked at the right side of the bed and stretched out her hand, feeling the soft pillow lying beside her. She smiled seeing that the soft pillow still has a slight crease where William’s head must have rested. She’s still covered with the thick white blanket up to her chest. Sadie looked at the bedside table and found a small black clipboard. A note was pinned there. A neat note written in cursive which she realized was written by William was waiting for her.
