First Incounter

Choose your battles. Sometimes letting things slide is the best course of action.

Letting out a savage growl at the other wolf i speed up the bike going 120mph. looking to my side i can see the larger wolf catching up. it seems like the closer he gets his eyes seems to glow a brighter red. I could feel my body shaking starting to change. looking down to my hands there already shifting, 5 inch claws sink into the rubber of the handles, trying to suppress the change i speed up.

I wince in pain feeling my canines extent, trying to suppress your change can be the most excruciating pain any wolf can go through. Letting out a painful growl i could feel Floki trying to mind link me. i open up the link and Flok immediately  speaks " Astrid whats the matter i can feel your pain and fear what the hell is going on".

looking to my right side to see where the other wolf is, not seeing him i look forward " FLOKI HE"S HERE HES FOLLOWING ME AND MY BODIES TRYING TO SHIFT I CANT HOLD IT I AM ABOUT THREE MILE OUT FROM THE HOUSE"i say in a Throaty voice. Floki speaks calmly through the mind link letting me know hes on his way. looking to both my sides, not seeing the wolf anywhere. Then out of no where a body slams into me and i go flying off the bike slamming into a tree and the bike goes skidding across the road sparks flying from the metal scraping against cement.

i stood up from the ground holding onto my arm i look up to the large wolf that knocked me off the bike and growl at him letting the shift take over. now standing in my 6 foot wolf form i pounce on him latching on top him  i bite down on his head and he gets his jaws onto my shoulder ripping into me and peels me off him and slams me down onto the floor.

He grabs me by my hind leg with his jaws and trying to pull me further into the wood. a flash of white crosses my vision and i see Floki ram his body into the other wolfs, causing the other wolf to let go of my leg. i stand up limping slightly and Floki runs up next to me. i briefly rub my head under his jaw in thanks and we both turn back to the other wolf. growling we both charge at the wolf, i jumped on top of him latching my jaw onto his shoulder scratching at his face with my paws. While Floki jumps on to his back trying to clamp his jaws down onto the back of his neck.

Blood flows into my mouth and i clamp down harder on to his shoulder. from what i could see Floki is struggling to get his mouth onto the back of his neck. the larger wolf lets out a painful howl and thrashes around trying to shake us off him. he suddenly starts to shift, my eyes widen as i watched as his wolf form shifted from all fours to where hes standing on just his back legs. his large clawed hands grabbed both Floki and i and threw us but not before i could scratch out one of his eyes.

howling in pain he gives us one more menacing growl before he takes off running the other way. I lay there breathing heavy, looking over to my shoulder i see a huge gash there from when he first pulled me off him. Floki trots over to me and rubs his head against mine speaking in our mind link "Astrid are you alright who in the hell was that" attempting to stand up on my paws i say " i am fine, i am not really to sure but if i got that sent right.....i think " Looking up at him letting out a very small whimper out " i think it was our grandfather" i say before i collapse back onto the floor.

Closing my eyes tightly i think of my human body as i slowly start to shift back. laying naked on the ground as my shoulder bleed out, Floki changes shortly after and picks me up cradling me up to his chest. i looked up at him as he begins to walk back to our home." listen Floki if that is who i think it is....were not strong enough like this to defeat him....where going to have to go through the second shift even then i don't think we will be strong enough" i say Quietly. he silent for a moment before he speaks " The only way we can do that is if we find our mates" he looks down at me

I look away from him nodding my head. Floki and i both know that the one thing i didn't want to do was find my mate but now..... i am being forced to...
