Mira POV

I am nervous as hell! I know he is talking to his wolf as I can see his eyes changing colors from black to brown. Is he mad that I ran away and came here? Maybe he knows our Alpha and wouldn't like to have a problem with him. Our Alpha is really a cruel one; you don't want to mess with him, or else he will immediately cut your head. I saw him did that once he saw me in the woods, and out of nowhere, he slashed his patrol man's head and threw it to me.

After a few minutes of silence and tension, I decided to hold his right hand." Please help me." If I have to beg, I'll do it. I have to use my acting skills and make myself look weak and helpless.

His eyes turned back to its brown color. "Of course! You don't have to beg. It is my duty to protect you." He caressed my face as if telling me that I'm his precious possession. "I'm sorry I was not there to save you from them. From now on, no one will hurt you. They have to cross my dead body to get near you!" He looks sincere while saying those words, and it made Therese wiggle her tails as if someone gave her a treat.

"Hey! I'm not a dog!" Therese said.

"Thank you so much!" I smiled at him. He is really handsome. "May I –know your name?"

He chuckled. We are both on the same page now. Feeling silly for not knowing our name after all happened a while ago.

"That quite funny, right. Surely love, my name is Geof. I am the alpha of this Dark blue moon pack you're currently in. How about your name, my beautiful mate?"

I blushed after hearing his compliment. "My name is Mira. Thank you, Geof for your help" He returned it with a smile that can make your knees wobble, even when you are sitting.

"Now that we know each other, I want you to know that –"He stops when someone opens the door with a bang. A cute little girl came in her cute little dress and a teddy bear on her right arm. She's around 7 years old, I guess and looking at me like I just came from a gift box for her.

"Sister! Yey!!!!" she said while running to me. When she reached the bed, she jumps and flies toward me. Good thing Geof immediately took her before she landed on me because I suddenly froze, waiting for the impact of her jolly jump.

"Ericka! She's not yet well! Why on earth did you jump like that?!" Geof lightly growl.

"Because I'm so happy that I have a sister now! Yehey!! Welcome, sister! Can we play when you are already feeling well?" Ericka looked at me with puppy eyes. Damn! She's so cute! "phuleaseee!"

She knows how to use her cuteness to get what she wants. "Yeahh..sure" I just heard myself saying that. Oh, oh, she got me!

Ericka raised her hands for a big yes and wiggled herself out from Geof's arms. She once again jumps on her feet and with a big happy face plastered on her face. "I am Ericka, his little sister. May I know your name?" she asked heartily.

"You can call me Mira" I smiled at her. So she is his little sister. They don't really look-a-like but maybe because one got the other parent's face.

"Mira it is! Remember your promise, ok? We will play together!" she said, and I think I saw a toothy grin. "Urgh! I want to skip my class today, but for sure, this big guy here will drag me on my feet to school."

"You bet I will!" I saw she rolled her eyes after hearing him react. "Yeah, yeah, so come now! Drive me to school! I also need to have a word for you in case you'll break my sister's heart!" saying it while pointing a finger to his older brother as if lecturing and giving him a warning.

I can't help but laugh at them. Geof blushed at what his sister did, so maybe he thought to prevent further damage to his ego, he already dragged his sister towards the door. Ericka waved at her, and I did the same. Then I look at Geof, and she gave me a wink. I blushed and waved at him- then I suddenly remember his unfinished words.

"Geof wait! What are you telling me a while ago before Ericka came?" I asked. He looks like he is thinking, then looks straight at me.

"I'm supposed to say that since we already know each other, you should know that you are mine and mine alone" He winked again that made my heart beat fast.

"See you later, love!" I heard Ericka squeal after closing the door. The smile never left my face after that.
