Happy and Upset!

Mira POV

After an hour he left, the pack doctors came to check on me. I told them I’m already fine but they insist on doing some checking because as they said “the alpha threatened us to ensure that you are a hundred percent fine, Luna.” I just let them for I know he is just concern on me.

Now I am already bored here in his room waiting for him. I already had a grand self-tour in this room out of curiosity and boy I can say he really arrange his stuff neatly. I know he didn’t asked me to wait but I am still uncertain if I’m allowed to go out as I’m still counted as rogue in this pack. Surely he will accept me as a member but since I am asleep, he can’t perform the acceptance speech because I have to reply.

D**n, I forgot to remind him a while ago. Now what to do? I remember my pending question.

I laid in bed and closed my eyes. My mother said I can just call her name for three times and think of the realm I had my training before. In an instant I heard the water flow on the river and chirping of the birds. When I open my eyes, I saw her.

“Yes dear? How can I help you my child?” my mom said while welcoming me with a hug. I returned the hug, it really feel good having her like this.

“ I already met my mate, mother. The thing is I am not sure if I can trust him with our secret of who I am and my purpose here. You just said that he needed to train me and I know I can get it be done without him knowing, but I feel that it isn’t right? What should I do?” told her and hug her tightly. This is the first time for me to vent out to someone on what is on my mind. I never thought it felt really great.

“ My dear, yes you can trust your mate with our secret. He actually has a role in this coming war and that is to protect you.”

I felt her shoulder stiffen and fell a little after saying that. I can feel there is something she is not telling me.

“ Why? Is there are problem mom?” I step back away from her hug and look at her in her eyes. The moon goddess looked away. There is really a catch in here!

“ Mom you need to tell it to me or else I will not do what you want me to do. I am already hanging in here after all the things happened that changed my life forever!” I told her making a point. I saw her hesitation but gave in a sigh showing her upset.

“ Mira, I know this will upset you forever but let me tell you that on this, you can change what will happen in the future. I have a blurry vision of the war and if it is blurry it means it can be change depending on the decision the characters will make.” She held my hand a led me to sit on the trunk laying near the river with her.

“I saw that your mate will die after blocking the knife with his body that is intended for you.” She told me and I felt my heart shattered. I felt numb and my tears started to fall down.

“ Don’t cry my child, try to breath out!” My mother told me while stroking my back. I didn’t know I stop breathing. My mate will die!!! By just thinking about it, me and therese feel like we wanto die also, given that I just met him a while ago. The bond really works big time!

“ I told you we can still change that so try to get hold of yourself. You have to ensure that both of you are in this plan together. A good strategy to win the war is needed and both of you should work out or else we can’t win this. The first step is for both of you to learn on trusting each other.” My mother said.

I felt relieved after hearing those words and I now felt the motivation on making things right. I need to open up myself to him so that we can work this out.

“ Don’t worry, our mate is really a good person. Brooze told that to me” Therese said.

“Alright, thank you mother. I have to go now and look for him.” I gave her my goodbye hug and kiss on her cheeks. She reciprocated it with a smile.

I stood up and closed my eyes trying to picture again my mate’s room. When I open my eyes, I am already in his room.

Masking my smell is the first thing I did, to ensure I will be safe outside. I open the door and tried following the smell of my mate. I know it has been hours so his smell might be fainted but duh? I am the moon goddess daughter! I can control and heighten my senses if I want to.

His smell directed me to the first floor of this mansion house. Their packhouse is really big, I shouldn’t be surprise as dark blue moon pack is the biggest pack and the riches one here in this region. My previous pack also barrow money from them, I know because I overheard my dad and his alpha cousin that their debt is rising.

“ Hey you! Go get me a juice!” My mind wondering is cut by this question. I looked at my back and saw a girl standing with her arm crossed. When I didn’t move, she pointed at me “ our you deaf? I said go get me a juice!” I am about to tell her that I am new here when she shouted at me. “ Damn it! You wouldn’t want to upset your future luna would you? Because I will surely banish you after the ceremony! So go now and get me my juice!”

Future luna? What the f**k is she saying?! Don’t she dare claim my mate!

I growl at her and ready to use my power on her when we were cut by the sudden open of the door. I guess it is the main door.

A girl came inside, she is I think in mid-forties, elegant, and full of confident aura. She is the Luna! She look at us for a minute, perhaps trying to assess what is happening.

“ Hey you, go get us a drink!” she told to the girl who said me the same command a while ago. The girl is shock on what her luna said.

“ Why? You don’t want to? You don’t want to upset your luna and your future luna right?” She added and when I look at her, she winked at me. Now I know whom Geof got his eyes.

“Burn! b**ch burnnn!” Therese said. She is dancing happily in my head knowing that my mate’s mom accept us.

“ no way! I am the future luna of this pack! Geof is my boyfriend!” She growls showing she still didn’t give up. I also growl at her, claiming what is mine really made me mad.

In a second, I already had her neck and pushed her in the wall. The impact cracked the wall and made her shout for pain. “ Don’t you dare claim what is mine! I’ve been holding myself since the beggining, don’t push my limit b***h!” I told her.

I can see the fear visible in her eyes because for a girl, I am really strong given that I can c***k the wall. She knows she is no match to me.

“ What is happening here?!” I didn’t look back but I know to whom the voice came from. Knowing he is here made me relax a little bit. A hand slid down on my waist, pushing me back on his body, stiffen my body. He is hugging me and that made my angry vanished in the air.

“ Calm down love, I am already here. Please tell me what is happening here.” He whispered in my ears then gave a kiss on my head.

“ Your girlfriend started it!” I told him. Oh goddess , my maddens level is starting to raise again. If he is her boyfriend, then he didn’t wait for her. That thought made Therese whimper in my head. She is also upset.

I removed my hand on the b**ch'neck and stormed out of the pack house.
