"I'm going out," I told my siblings when I glanced at the clock on the wall.
It was almost time to meet Celine, and the anticipation made me giddy.
We had spent the entire day cozying up on the couch, binge-watching movies.
Ady was staying with us for the weekend, and we were all trying to enjoy our little bonding sessions together. It was the most perfect way to unwind before heading into the week.
"Where are you going?" Ady asked, his curiosity evident as he raised an eyebrow at me.
"I'm meeting my best friend. She asked me to hang out last night," I replied, hoping to keep it casual.
"Say hi to her for me!" Ara chimed in cheerfully, her voice brightening the atmosphere.
I nodded in acknowledgment, appreciating her enthusiasm.
