The warm, golden ray of sunlight gently brushed against my face, bringing me out of my slumber.
I slowly opened my eyes, allowing the morning light to flood my vision. With a small effort, I pushed myself up to a sitting position on the bed.
Taking a moment to stretch my limbs, I felt the grogginess dissipate, and I finally decided to head to the bathroom.
Once I washed up, I left my room, feeling a mix of anticipation and habit as I directed my footsteps toward Adrien's room.
