Amethyst's POV I gazed out of the window, letting my thoughts drift as I took in the world outside. The sky was a brilliant blue, dotted with fluffy white clouds, but inside the car, there was an uncomfortable silence hanging between Devon and me. It felt particularly awkward, especially since we hadn’t properly spoken to each other since that incident. My heart sank as I remembered how he refused to talk or listen to me, and I had decided to let him be. What else was I supposed to do? Should I coax him into conversation?
