"Mommy?" Adrien gently knocked on the door and peeked inside my office, his eyes wide with curiosity.
"Hi, love! What is it? Do you need anything?" I inquired, setting aside my work to focus on him.
"Do you have some time right now?" he asked, his eagerness evident.
I closed my laptop, sensing that this conversation was important to him.
"Of course, I do. I always have time for you. Come here," I said, gesturing for him to join me.
Adrien walked over and I lifted him onto my lap, enveloping him in a warm embrace.
"Is everything okay?" I asked, a hint of concern creeping into my voice.
He shook his head, a serious expression crossing his face.
"I just thought it's been a while since it was just the two of us going out," he began, his tone thoughtful.
