Amethyst's POV “Hey, Shaw,” I said as I closed the car door after Ara climbed in. I turned my head to look at Shaw, who was sitting in the front seat, and noticed a slight furrow in his brow. He raised an eyebrow at me, clearly scrutinizing me. “Stop calling me Shaw, will you” he said, his tone filled with annoyance. “What am I supposed to call you then? Devon? We are not close enough for that kind of familiarity, so no thanks,” I replied, crossing my arms defiantly over my chest. “Not close enough? We’re getting married.
