It had a further uniqueness in that it was the only area used exclusively thus, it being the Mantynnai’s general practice to train anywhere that suited the needs of the moment: fields, mountains, rivers, corridors, stairways, rooftops and cellars, and, on occasions, even the rambling, cavernous sewers.
