I opened my eyes slowly to see Ashley, glaring at me with disdain.
“You don’t like your room? You want to start sleeping outside?” She demanded and I shook my head vigorously as I stood up.
“No… I…” She lifted her hand to touch me but slowly retracted it. “You’re lucky you’re the beast’s toy.” She mumbled.
“Report for duty in the next 20 minutes!” She barked and I nodded, dashing out with haste.
I had my bath hurriedly and to my amazement, my meal was on the bed. I was too hungry to be bothered about whether it was mine or not.
I dug in, eating hurriedly while trying not to choke. By the time I was done, I returned the plate to the kitchen before heading to the garden.
