I was busy with a few dishes in the kitchen when Ashley walked inside.
She glanced around, her yes resting on me. I hadn’t seen her for days and god knew I wanted to get myself out of her sight, knowing there was danger lurking around the corner.
“Human, come with me.” She ordered and without another word., I dropped everything, trailing behind her with my head bowed.
There were about five maids lined up and she glanced at us occasionally before she kidded on satisfaction.
“King Nikolai is holding an orgy, you need to serve the guests and be on your best behavior. I want everything to be perfect.” Her gaze lingered on me like she was directing the warning at me and I swallowed, nodding my head rapidly with the other maids.
