Evelyn listened to whatever mike and James spoke.
At once her heart skipped a beat. Because she did not expect something like this to happen. That too, the day before her wedding.
The man said he would crush their family. He will drag them to the road.
So, is it him who has done this?
Is this the same man who has done this?
Yes. It might be him.
He said it so firmly, and now is suspecting it is him.
So, it has happened because of him. He is the reason for it.
When he said that he would destroy his family, she did not care.
She thought a person could do to her family. She thought about how a single person can destroy them or their business.
But he has done it. Why is he doing all this? Why he wants to marry her? How much she thought she could not understand what is his intention?
Is it because he loves her? No. He doesn’t love her. How can he fall in love with her just at once?
No, he wants to take revenge on her. She hit him and hurt him. She insulted him in front of everyone. That is why he wanted to take revenge on her.
But what will she do now?
Evelyn did not understand what to do.
She went back to her room and closed her door.
She is so tensed, and sweat is forming on her forehead.
It is all happening because of her.
Her family is being destroyed. They will go bankrupt, and they will fall on the road.
Her father was very happy that he was paying gratitude by getting her married to Jason. James helped her father when he was in need.
His father agreed for the marriage because Jason loved her, and he wanted to repay that help.
But now, James will also suffer because of her.
What should she do now? She must do something. Otherwise, the situation will get out of her hands.
First, she has to talk to him.
She immediately took out her phone.
She hesitated for a moment. She doesn’t want to talk to him.
She never wanted to see his face again.
But if she does not talk to him now, the damage will be done.
She cannot do anything after, even if want to something.
She took a deep breath and dialed the number.
All two rings, one man had lifted the call.
He asked, “Hello”.
She also said, “Hello.”
The man asked, “Who is this?”
Evelyn hesitated for a moment. She said, “It is me, Evelyn.”
The man said, “Evelyn? Who is Evelyn?”
“With whom do you want to talk to?”
Evelyn said, “Hello Liam. It is me?”
The man was about to say something, just then, another man asked, “Who is it?”
The man answered, “It is Evelyn, she wants to talk to you.”
The man said, “Give the phone to me.”
Then he said, “Hello, tell me.”
Evelyn said, “It is me. Evelyn. Is it Liam Morris.”
Liam said, “Yes, tell me.”
Evelyn said, “Hello Liam, I have to talk to you personally.”
Liam said, “You want to talk to me personally? I remember you said you never wanted to meet me?”
Evelyn gritted her teeth.
Evelyn said, “You have done everything and are not even ready to meet me?”
“I should meet you. Tell me when and where I can see you?”
Liam thought for a while and said, “Come to Victoria hotel. Room no 2244”
“I will meet you there.”
Evelyn said, “Hotel?”
Liam said, “Yes, if you want to see me, come to meet me at 4:00 PM exactly.”
Evelyn sighed and said, “Okay. I will come.”
Now, it is her need to meet him. So, she will go wherever she asks her to go.
Evelyn got ready and went into the hall.
Maria saw her and said, “Evelyn, where are you going?”
Evelyn said, “Mom, I have some important work. I need to go out.”
Maria, “Hey, where are you going? Tomorrow is your wedding. You should stay back home and take a rest.”
“Don’t you want to look beautiful at your wedding?”
Evelyn thought now her father and his business are more important than her wedding.
Now she is not at all thinking about wedding and marriage.
She said, “Mom, I have some important work.”
“I will come back early.”
“Don’t worry.”
She said this and left from there in a cab to Victoria hotel.
She stood in front of the hotel.
Don’t know what he will say? Don’t know what she will do?
She will scold him, scare him and if needed she will beg him.
But she will not let his family suffer because of her.
She went to the lift and went to room no 2244.
She took deep breath and knocked on the door.
After two knocks, the door was opened by Liam.
Evelyn went into the room.
He closed the door from behind.
When the door was closed with a thud, her heart trembled with fear.
He looked at Evelyn from top to bottom. She was wearing a peach coloured frock. Her dress was blended with her skin. As she went for a a couple of facial routines, her face was shining brightly. She is shining like a moon in the dark sky.
Liam said, “Come and sit. I will order some coffee.” He took out his phone to dial.
Evelyn said in a loud tone, “I did not come to accept your ambiance. I came here to ask you?”
This man is behaving like he has not done anything.
Their family is on the verge of beggary, and he is behaving like nothing has happened.
Liam knitted his eyebrows together.
“You want to ask me? What do you want to ask?”
Evelyn shouted, “Don’t like an innocent man. Don’t behave like you don’t know anything.”
“You know why I came here?”
Liam shoved his hands into his pockets and said, “How will I know why you came here?"
“I was thinking that you came for me as you liked my kiss, and you wanted more?”
“Did you not come to kiss?”
Evelyn became so angry. Her rage was about to touch the sky?”
She shouted, “You? What nonsense are you talking about?”
“I came to talk about my father and his business”.
