Chapter one - Name patch

Hi! my name is Jane, I'm in eight grade and wanna know a cool thing? School is my favorite place! Some kids say that they hate school, but I don't. I'm living with my mom, dad and my brother. I'm so excited and just can't sleep because tomorrow is the "First day of School!!!"

*TING TING TING TING ~~ !!!* (alarm clock)

Good morning world! I took my clothes off and it scattered on the floor, I run to my bathroom and took a shower. OMG I forgot my towel on my bed, I have no choice but to run wet. I ran, ran, raaaaan until I reach the bed but when I’m about to reach the towel, I slip and fell on the bed, luckily I didn’t fall on the floor. I am so loving my school uniform, do you guys know anime? If you’ll look at their school uniforms, that is how my school uniform looked like. At our school, makeup is NOT ALLOWED but I have little dark spots to cover so I use an acne concealer, I recommend using it if your school don’t allow makeup. Then I’m going to apply powder, cause ya’ll know we hate shiny oily face. And last thing I do is lip tint, tints are trendy now to be like more beautiful but for me no, I don’t want to be beautiful, I just want a freakin color on my lips.

After 40 minutes of preparation, I go out my room and greet my parents and my cool brother. “Good morning!” I shouted that startled them haha. “Good morning sweetie, breakfast’s ready,” my mom said. “Good luck on your first day, make sure you’ll get high scores, high grades and also join contests to increase your extracurricular points,” my dad said with a fierce look on his eyes while drinking his coffee. I just nodded, I’m more scared of my dad than my mom but I am closer with my cool, awesome, handsome, amazing, smart, best brother ever! His name is John, he’s in 9th grade and he’s kinda famous at our school thats why many girls want to ask if I can give gifts or letters or messages or any materials to my brother, everyday! But I’m used to it now and I’m telling them that my brother has a girlfriend (my mom) so girls will stop coming to him and me. Even he is famous, he still doesn’t forget me, he always join me every break time and every time we go to school and going home. Every birthday, he always surprise me with gifts and chocolate ice cream. I love him so much.

“Hey sis, let’s ride the bike to school today, okay?” my brother asked me as he take a big bite of his sandwich.

“Okay but no race will happen,” I said to my brother with puppy eyes.

“Okay okay but don’t be a snail.” he said while putting all the sandwich on his mouth then cough.

“Pfft AHAHHAHAHHAH” I burst into laughter because he just place a whole sandwich on his mouth then cough ahahahaha but instead of him getting mad at me because of laughing at him, he also laughed.

We talked a lot and while not noticing the time. I look at the clock and it’s 6:30 am and our class will start at 7:10 am. When we bike, it sometimes take us 20 minutes. I prepared my backpack, I have my tumbler, two notebooks, one for notes and one for drawings, three pens, and phone. I only bring little things and other things are in my locker. I haven’t used my bike for a year but I think I still can bike… I think.

“Bye mom,” me and my brother said as we kissed mom’s cheek. “Bye dad,” we wave at dad as we leave the house.

It is first day of school and for sure I am going to enjoy this day.

My bike is just an ordinary bike and I love it so much because it’s black and black’s my fav color. So me and my brother are biking now, my brother’s a little bit too fast so I need to catch up so I bike faster than I usually do.

“Bro! Wait for me!” I shouted while biking fast.

BIKEEEE BIKEEEE BIKEEEE I need to catch up with John! AHHHHH I need more power!

OOOOFFFF NOOOOOO ROCKS

“AAAAAAAAA!!!!!” I shouted.

The front wheel of my bike hit a rock that will make me fall but instead of just falling, I feel like flying in the air and BOOM I hit someone. I hit someone and and I hit a boy! This is so embarrassing. I feel a little bit dizzy but I don’t think my head hit the ground. I open my eyes and saw that I fell in that boys arms. We are both on the ground and many students are looking at us so I stand up and bow and said “I am so so so so sorry, please forgive me.” I can’t look at his face because I’m embarrassed. I lift my face and I saw only his name patch.

“8 Remos M”

When I’m about to look at his face, my brother pulled me and gave me my bike. “Bike faster,” John said to me. So what I did is just bike bike and bike again until finally we’re at school!

I parked my bike and I said good luck to my brother. I still can’t get over that little accident awhile ago. Who is Remos M? He’s on 8th grade too?

“Hello Jane! Jane you’re zoning out! Hello??” someones yelling at me.

“Oh haha hello Ashley! Ashley! ASHLEYYYY! I miss you! Hows your vacation?”

Ashley, my best friend. When I was in 7th grade, I just transferred to this school I’m at. She was the first one who smiled and talked to me when I just transferred. She’s beautiful, smart and soooo sociable. I wish to be like her and she told me she can help me increase my confidence. She was the person to tell me about trends recently like lip tints, social medias, she also help me with my assignments and she also helped me study everyday at the library. She also has a a brother, best friend of my brother, which is so cool, right? And I have a secret no one knows… I have a crush on Ashley brother.

“Hey sis, can I borrow a pen? I’ll give it back tomorrow,” a voice from Ashley’s back.

“Sorry, but I don’t have extra…” Ashley said.

I have, ask me please, ask me if i have extra pen!

“Oh hey Jane, do you have…”

“Yes! here.” I said before he finish asking.

Omg I think he can see hearts on my eyes, my cheeks are red.

“Thank you mam, I’ll give it back later, see me at the library I guess,,” he said then wink at me! You know W. I. N. K. Those beautiful eyes winked at me!

“Are you okay?” Ashley asked me. Of course why wouldn’t I be okay? I looked at the mirror and my cheeks are freakin’ pink! And I’m sweating a lot. I can’t say that oooh it’s because of your handsome brother.

“oh haha it’s because of you know, haha, it’s hot, anyways haha let’s go?” I said to her.

We went inside, me and Ashley are in the same class so we both have the same schedules that why we always go to the library every dismissal. Speaking of library, I just can’t wait until Kheon give back my pen.

While we are walking to our classroom, I was using my phone so I don’t know who’s in front of me. As we are walking, I can only hear load basketball noises so I think there’s just boys playing. But because I’m just using my phone I didn’t notice that…

BOOM!!!

OUCH!!!

That hurt my head! The basketball hit my head, OW! Lesson learned, focus on one thing only! Do not multi-task.

Who is that who hit me with that freakin’ basketball?! Ow my head hurts. While I’m holding my head, someone suddenly helped me stand up, I’m not looking at him because I’m looking for my phone. Then I looked I him and saw only his name patch.
