“Of Course we do”
They say going to their side where they keep their hidden knife in case they get kidnapped.
Sounds ridiculous but you would be surprised at how many times that has happened. They look at me and I roll my eyes and get up and find my bag then pull out my tiny knife that looks like a pin. I pin it to my skirt then return to my seat.
“Good now we got you these”
They hand us little boxes with our names on it, they give one to Luca so he takes it looking amused. He has no idea how protective our parents are and that now applies to him too.
Inside my box was a simple rope choker with a little wooden plaque in the middle that said on its pine ridge. I smile looking them over.
