“The hotel forwarded a letter from Cordelia,” Simeon said happily, “before she could have possibly received mine.”
As Percy ate his toast, Simeon read out certain passages not containing private endearments meant for Simeon alone, but all the same, confirming Cordelia’s stout support for her husband.
