Chapter 13One early October evening, Percy was settled in the homely sitting room in the house off Leicester Square, waiting for Nathan’s arrival. This domestic routine had become a pattern for their trysts. Percy mused how, before the events of September, rather than congregating in each other’s homes, they habitually met en route or even at public gatherings, mingling with the throng.
