Another day, another morning. I took a look at myself in the mirror, feeling dejected. I touched my pale eyes that refused to sleep, thinking about the news that was revealed to me. It was all real, I thought to myself. I grabbed the edge of the seat and bent my head, eyes squeezed shut. I had to go through this on my own and to be honest? That sucked. I rose my head and reached for the cabinet where I placed the pills, bringing them all out. I examined all four bottles and smiled sadly “This is my life huh?” I grabbed the glass of water and downed the pills swiftly. I splashed some water on my face, smacking it to add more color. I freshened up, got dressed, took my breakfast and waited for my Uber to come pick me up because there was no way I was going to drive myself, feeling so weak
