CHAPTER TEN Christmastime tends to mostly bring out the best in people – cheerful music, colorful lights, gaily wrapped gifts, a spirit of goodwill to all. Then again, most people don’t work in the police or fire department, an emergency room, or ambulance service. Those people usually have a front-row seat for the outright insanity that also tends to peak during any major holiday season. Christmas 2010 was turning out to be no different.
