Lizzie returned to work all smiles after her impromptu vacation trip, in no small part due to her time with Landon while in the Grand Caymans. They’d spent an incredible passion filled week together; and by her choice, they were leaving it at that when they parted ways at DFW Airport. She got the sense from him that he would truly have liked more, but she had no desire for anything serious at all anytime soon – if ever, she amended silently.
