Nathan heard a few scraping noises, then, “Can you hear us?” in a slightly tinny voice.
“Yep, what did you find?”
“Well,” Lizzie began, “Judge Copeland’s obituary mentions he died up in Alberta, Canada. Some place called Sunburst Lake. Livingston and Singletary were both local, Joe’s already got those files in hand.”
Joe picked up the thread. “Sam Norton died in Austin, Texas, and Monica Stewart died out in L.A. McDaniels, he was the one in Decatur, so I’ve already got that file too, as well as Ramon Garcia’s.”
