ALEX’S POV,
After dinner, I took Emily out to roam around and show her the place. We walked along the trail.
The start of the walk was silent and peaceful.
After a few minutes of walking in pure silence, I started the conversation.
I should ask her about what else she likes besides the things I know. How does she spend her free time? About her hobbies? Does she like to eat anything else?
I want to know everything…
“What made you study veterinary medicine, Emily?”
“Not sure about that. But maybe because I really like animals. Don’t know why, but I always feel this connection with them. I can’t really explain the feeling, to be honest.”
“You must really like animals then.”
“Yeah, I do,” I replied with a smile.
“Tell me about the place you are taking me, Alex.”
