ALEX’S POV, While we cooked, Emily came out of her room and waited in the living room for our cooking to be finished. Then, she watched some comedy shows on television. But I could feel all of her attention was towards us, and the topics we were talking about. After we finished our cooking, Emily helped set the table and bought three wine glasses. We sat down to eat, we really made a feast. I poured wine into the glasses and handed them out. “Thank you for inviting me to the dinner,” I said. “You are more than welcome. Thank you for helping me in the kitchen.” Roxan said and Emily gave a small smile. We clicked our glasses and dug into our food. While eating Roxan said a few stories from Emily’s childhood.
