NATHAN Friday morning at seven-thirty, the main hallway didn't sound like normal. Usually, the corridor between the athletic wing and the main lobby was an echoing wall of routine noise—lockers slamming shut, sneakers squeaking on fresh wax, music blaring from someone's bag.
