I locked myself in my room and buried my head in my books. I decided to study so I could take my mind off everything that’s been bothering me lately.
There was a knock on the door, breaking my concentration and I looked up from the pages of my book for the first time in over an hour.
“Come in” I called and twisted in my seat so I was facing the door which allowed me to see who was coming in more easily.
