“Good morning, Mr. Bradford,” Laura greeted me. She was in a good mood this morning and I was really glad. Rumors were her boyfriend proposed to her, and they were confirmed when I noticed an engagement ring on her finger. I quickly thought of Zoey and how I could never propose to her the night of the awards.
“Good morning, Laura. You look happy today. I can see your boyfriend popped the question” I replied, hugging her, something I had never done, but I was really happy for her.
“Thank you. Mr. Huertas is in your office” she said, making me sigh in annoyance.
