**Eli's POV** "Alex!" Sam smiles, and her eyes are watery again. "Mommy!" He cheers and runs down the stairs and into her arms. I rush over to hug them as well. "Hey buddy." I squeeze. He really is ok! How the hell did this happen? How did he get here from the accident? There's no way he got here himself. I pull apart from them, but Sam is still clinging onto her son desperately. "Mommy missed you so much!" She sniffles as she examines every inch of his head amd face in her hands. I look over at Ms. Green. She is kneeled down, picking the broken glass out of the spilled mess on the floor. I walk over to help her, but as I lower myself down, she puts her hand up for me to stop.
