Emory 2.0

Melanie and the rest of the staff in the cafe was shocked when Emory came in to work after a week of hiatus. They thought she'd been laid off from work already. But what made them shocked even more was that she cut her hair short which suits her well. She wore make up that enhanced her beautiful face, and her clothes were complementing her body so well and she looked very chick and fresh.

"Emory, you're perfect!!!", Melanie exclaimed.

"Thank you, I guess I needed a make over as a kick start for a better version of me." 

"You do you, Emory. Do not let any man hinder you from growing and hurt your feelings anymore. You're beautiful, smart and hard working. There's a lot of opportunity for you out there." 

"I figured. Well, I am glad I learned my lesson and it made me even more stronger. So I know I'll be smarter next time, haha!"

They all laughed and her workmates was so proud of Emory. 

"By the way, Emory, two days ago a handsome looking man was looking for you. He said you dropped one of your IDs the last time you bumped into each other. He doesn't know where you were working so he had to look you up in social media" 

"Oh, that must have been the man who was nicely offering me to eat a pastry with him to ease my sadness! He's quite weird, offering to eat with a stranger! But yeah, I lost one of my IDs"

"But admit it, girl, he's handsome!"

"Yes, he is. But I am not into new relationship right now. I want to focus for my future"

"That's right. Well, the ID's  in my locker, I will hand it over to you during our break, remind me, okay?"

"Okay, Mel, thanks a lot!

Emory continued to live her life, worked harder than before so she can support her mother's cancer treatment as usual and save for their future. She did not took the savings she had with her ex-boyfriend, she left all the invested furniture and the car to him. She wanted every memory of him erased from her head. It does not mean she is still bitter. She have already forgiven them but she just want to forget about the painful memory of the past. 

She started to dress well and make her self even more presentable. She was able to buy a new car after 2 years and her mother's treatment is going well. She is also planning to open up a business on her own, perhaps a Salon or Spa for the ladies and even a dress shop.
