Lucan POV

They flushed with triumph after my arrival, I wore a red Royal robe and my spicy aroma was appealing. I walked with a lion-like tread toward my throne. All the packs, future Luna, Alphas, and chiefs bowed their heads. I finally sat down on my well-designed throne in the middle of the hall and the other alpha's king sat down beside me. My bodyguards are at my back standing and my beta too.

I gave my orders to proceed to the ceremony and rest my back on the throne. O watched the women dancing around to catch my attention and I closed my eyes shut. My beta forced me to come to this ballroom and I did not feel like coming.

My beta whispered in my ear, he told me that the alpha King of the omega pack wanted the alpha's to choose any first of their choice in his pack. I show no emotions and my eyes are still closed. I noticed that all the ladies were in a straight line trying to get my attention but I did not open my eyes. After five minutes, my beta whispered in my ear again and he told me it was my turn to choose.

I finally opened my demon eyes, it was red. I looked at the remaining girls and it is the remaining five girls. I noticed a girl wearing a red mask on her face but I couldn't see her face clearly and I noticed her fears under the nose mask. Which makes me interested in her.

"Mate " my wolf whispered yelling in excitement. A strong fascinating scent hit my nose, Rose and sandal words. This means the girl putting on the mask is my mate, Finally, I find my mate now. I stood up from the throne and walked close to her, I could hear her heartbeat beating faster, and at the same time, fear was written all over her face. I hate when my mate is afraid of me, it makes me wonder if I'm a monster or beast.

"I chose her" My face never left her and she was shaking her head not to choose her.

"Okay, you are free to have her," The alpha King of omega said and bowed his head. I noticed my mate staring at something, so I traced it. It was a bodyguard standing beside the king of omega, which made me angry. I signed my beta to take her to the carriage, So it was time for me to leave. People were shocked even other alphas were shocked, it was my first time choosing a girl at a party. They did not know that she was my mate.
